It’s always the right time to be inspired by beautiful design! We have welcomed two new studios to our roster that are sure to delight you: Vancouver’s Matthew McCormick Studio, and Brooklyn-based Rosie Li Studio.

Read on to find out more about their work, as well as what’s new in our lighting collection.

Matthew McCormick Studio

Founded a decade ago by Matthew McCormick, this Canadian company is known for its dynamic lighting collections and bespoke installations that have appeared at the Victoria & Albert Museum as part of London Design Festival and at Spazio Rossana Orlandi during Milan Design Week.

This multi-disciplinary design house seeks out the best local and global manufacturing partners to bring to life the alluring pieces designed in their Vancouver studio, including the spectacular Mila lighting collection. Here, hand-blown artisan glass is united with graphic metal elements to create a series of pendants that uplift the spirit.

Rosie Li Studio

Award-winning designer Rosie Li and engineer Philip Watkins helm a talented team of eight in this New York-based studio and boutique lighting manufacturer, which has gained the attention of Architectural Digest and Dwell thanks to its array of eclectic and eye-pleasing pieces.

Rosie Li Studio designs are ignited by all manner of influences from the structural folds of a palm leaf to Brancusi’s stately Endless Column, as is the case with the hand-built ceramic and brass Pilar Round Alabaster Pendant, Double shown above.

The Gemma Floor Lamp by In Common With

We were so happy to welcome In Common With’s collections to Hollace Cluny earlier this year, and now we can happily add that the studio’s sumptuous Gemma Floor Lamp is available through our showroom. This piece is crafted using a modern take on a centuries-old artisanal practice which involves applying handmade marble-like glass dots to a blown glass surface; the effect is unbelievably gorgeous.

Three New Styles from PELLE

Jean and Oliver Pelle founded PELLE over a decade ago, and since then the company has gained renown for its unique and diverse range of lighting options. Enhancing its stunning stable of work are three new designs: the powerfully sculptural Tripp Stack (above), and fanciful Lure Radiata Sprig 1 and Sprig 2 (below). Something to complement every aesthetic, from minimal to the most maximalist of rooms.

Bocci’s Beguiling 118

Vancouver’s Bocci bring us the 118 – an enticing blown opal glass shade comprised of a sweep of feather-like forms. When illuminated, these compellingly organic details can be studied with enjoyment.
